HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Evening rain has caused some heavy flooding in parts of Bonaire.

Vehicles were having a tough time getting through the rain between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday.

The flooding has gone down, but more storms in the midstate are expected to come through the area.

A flash flood warning remains in effect through this evening for parts of Houston and Peach counties.

Experts advise people not to drive through standing water. Just remember - turn around, don't drown.
