Fire crews investigate Wednesday morning house fire

MACON, Ga -- The Macon-Bibb Fire Department is investigating a Wednesday morning structure fire on Florence Avenue near Mercer University Drive in Macon.

According to Chief Sanders at the Macon-Bibb Fire Department, a call came in around midnight. The house had no occupants in it at the time.

No injuries were reported and no suspicious activity is being considered at this time. Fire investigators will continue to investigate the scene.
