Fire Marshal: Rock Eagle Chapel burned by electrical fire


    The Fire Marshal now says the fire that burned Rock Eagle 4-H chapel was electrical. <p>{/p}

    EATONTON, Ga--The University of Georgia Extension announced that the fire that burned the Rock Eagle 4-H Center chapel on Friday was an electrical fire.

    Associate Dean for Extension Laura Perry Johnson posted on their Facebook page saying that they're happy no one was hurt in the fire.

    They're also hoping to salvage the stone facade of the church.

    Johnson wrote that they don't expect to know more until experts assess the damage.
