Fort Valley business ready to help communities with supply of generators
PEACH COUNTY, Ga. -- A Fort Valley business is trying to get generators to Georgia communities who are still without power in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.
Robbie Armstrong with Florida Hardware said they're distributing generators through Clopine Farm Supply.
Armstrong said they expected a shipment of over 100 generators from North Carolina Thursday evening.
"I'm coming in to pick up some generators. I have family members and customers south of here in Dooly County that's going to be out of power for seven, 10 or 15 days and they need generators to run their homes and freezers," said Sonny Raper.
For anyone interested, Clopine Farm Supply is located at 11022 US Hwy. 341. They can be reached at 478-224-3276 or 256-656-6785.
