Fort Valley: Man arrested following home invasion

FORT VALLEY, Ga. (WGXA) -- Fort Valley police officers respond to a home invasion on East Church Street.

At approximately 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, officers responded to an active home invasion on the 800 block of East Church Street.

Officers said they encountered a middle-aged man with a laceration to his upper torso at the residence.

The man was identified as Bruce Campbell who was taken into custody.

Campbell was charged with home invasion, aggravated assault, cruelty to children, possession of a knife, and simple assault.
