Deputies say the three are identified as Ronnie Wayne Hackle Jr., 27, Bobbie Lynn Moore, 22, and Mercedes Maelyn Hackle, 17.
According to the GBI, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office was called around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday to a vehicle fire in the area off Highway 135 at the Alapaha River. An investigation showed the three people were not responding to attempts to make contact.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says the mother of Ronnie and Mercedes Hackle lives in Dodge County.
Ronnie, reportedly, has a rental home in Dodge Co. on a dirt road between Milan and Chauncey, deputies add. Sheriff Lynn Sheffield believes Ronnie lives in the rental home with his girlfriend Bobbie Lynn Moore.
Sheffield believes the three victims left Dodge County Saturday evening. They are trying to determine if anyone was with them when they left for Berrien County.
Bobbie's mother lives in Berrien County, deputies say.
The car was recovered near the Willacoochee River.
