Georgia corrections officers find meth, cash and more during inmate work detail
Georgia corrections officers seized several items while supervising an inmate work detail at a state correctional facility recently.
The Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) says officers noticed an offender watching the woodline.
After searching the area, officers found one cellphone, two SD cards, tobacco, marijuana, methamphetamine and $50 in cash.
The GDC says the marijuana was packaged in coffee grounds.
