HAWKINSVILLE, Ga.-- Customers lined up outside Harris Kuntry Meats & Grocery for their Grand Reopening on Saturday.

The owner said the store was shut down after suffering damage from a fire and Hurricane Irma, and had to go through extensive repairs after being damaged.

Owner Chris Dollar says he is glad to finally be back after some time off.

"The fire September 10th and the hurricane was coming after with high winds. once it got going it just spread like crazy," said Dollar.

Dollar said he wouldn't have been able to open so quickly if it wasn't for his customers' support. He said after the fire he got calls everyday asking him if he needed help.
