GSP: 6 injured in two morning crashes on Perry interstate
PERRY, Ga. -- Six people were injured in two crashes in Perry Thursday morning.
Georgia State Patrol says the first crash happened on Interstate 75 near mile marker 138 just before 3:30 a.m.
A car traveling south made an improper lane change and hit an 18-wheeler. After those vehicles came to a stop on the interstate, a third vehicle also traveling south hit the car.
GSP says none of the six injuries are life-threatening.
The crashes resulted in all lanes being shut down from 4 a.m. to just after 6:30 a.m.
The crashes are still under investigation.
