WARNER ROBINS, Ga. - The Houston County Career Academy (HCCA) held a Signing Day for Industrial Maintenance graduates on Tuesday.
The school recognized students for being college and career ready, as well as for their commitment to working with a local business.
During the ceremony, seven industrial maintenance program cadets signed a letter of intent to work at Frito-Lay in Perry. These students successfully completed the HCCA Industrial Maintenance Pathway and earned a Technical Certificate of Credit from Central Georgia Technical College.
“We’re training the future workforce today. We are very proud of our students’ success, which is a win-win for our students and community. It is a pleasure to help our students prepare for their future careers and at the same time provide qualified workers to fill employment needs," said HCCA Principal Sabrina Phelps.
