Jackson man questioned, searched in officer shooting case feels "embarrassed"

Rodreikus Scott was questioned and searched after he was accused of shooting former Officer Sherry Hall / Brittany Collins (WGXA)
JACKSON, Ga. -- The man that the former Jackson Police Officer Sherry Hall claimed shot her is now talking about his battle for justice.
GBI agents interviewed Rodreikus Scott last month when Hall reported being shot by a black man with dreadlocks.
The police department fired Hall once GBI agents determined she actually shot herself with an extra service weapon she was given. Hall faces multiple charges, including violating her oath of office and false statements.
Scott's attorney Mawuli Davis said he understands the GBI was doing its job by questioning Scott, but they believe the city of Jackson should take responsibility for what happened.
Within hours of the shooting on September 13, Scott agreed to have investigators search his home and car.
They also needed to check Scott's body for a gunshot wound since Hall said she shot back at the man.
"They also made me take my clothes off in front of my one year old daughter," Scott said. "That made me feel ashamed and embarrassed. I felt like a cattle."
Scott said he hasn't gotten an apology for the mistake and what he had to go through but he said he isn't even sure if an apology will help.
Davis said after they talk with Jackson city officials they will figure out the next step. He also added that Scott is continuously wondering why this all happened to him.
