MACON, Ga. -- There's no doubt that Middle Georgians - and their pets - have noticed the heat this month.
It's important to protect four-legged friends from these scorching temperatures as well as ourselves.
WGXA asked some Middle Georgians how they keep their animals safe.
"I just make sure that he gets hosed down often, that he stays cool. There's a creek out here, so just making sure that he has plenty to drink and you know gets hosed down i give him ice cubes when he gets home," said Alana Allen, who takes her dog to the Macon dog park.
