MACON, Ga. (WGXA) -- Macon saw a drop in unemployment for the month of April.
A 3.2% unemployment rate was recorded for the month of April which brought unemployment down 0.7% over the month.
Compared to a year ago, that rate was 2.9%.
The Labor force dropped by 587 with over 100,511 workers, almost 800 more compared to the previous year.
Unemployment claims increased by 22%.
