Macon student creates motivational clothing brand
MACON, Ga-- Chase Clements, a fourth grader at St. Peter Claver Catholic school of Macon is doing his part to motivate and inspire others around him through art and fashion.
Just 9 years old, Chase has created his very own clothing line, "A+", which represents ambition, athletic and academic excellence.
Chase's mom Ar'erel Freeman, said in addition to making good grades in school and being active in sports, she noticed that he has a talent for drawing and art.
"With the t-shirt line it gives him that opportunity to display that talent, which he probably would do unless he's at home by designing his own logo, Designing other shirts, it gives him a chance to show another talent that he has." she said.
Chase's designs have already been featured in two local fashion shows with more to come in the near future.
