Sandersville, Ga - After an 11-day search, a man has been arrested for a shooting in Sandersville on Monday, June 11.

Duron Robinson is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation. Investigators say he shot Victor Walker Jr. at the Washington Manor Apartments in Sandersville on the afternoon of June 11 and then left in a dark car.

The Sandersville Police Department asked the Fugitive Task Force in Macon for assistance in finding Robinson. The Task Force, Laurens County Sheriff's Office and Dublin Police Department arrested Robinson around 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Captain Ken Parker with the Sandersville Police Department say the arrest is a result of multiple agencies working together.

"Our goal was to bring Robinson safely into custody and prevent anyone else from getting hurt; and with everyone working together that's what we did" Parker said.
