Man, girlfriend arrested in connection to Macon murder
MACON, Ga. -- Bibb County deputies have arrested a 41-year-old man and 41-year-old woman in connection to a man who was found stabbed to death in downtown Macon's Central City Park.
A sheriff's release said around 1 p.m. Thursday, officers with the US Marshal’s Regional Fugitive Task Force found Thelonius McArthur Sumter at a home on Napier Ave.
According to the release, officers arrested Sumter on two unrelated warrants and also arrested his girlfriend, Shirderia Dorsey of Macon.
Bibb County investigators reportedly interviewed Sumter and Dorsey about the homicide of 35-year-old Ryan Lee Glover, who was found deceased in the park on November 24.
Sumter and Dorsey were both arrested after the interview, the release said. Sumter has reportedly been charged with murder and Dorsey was charged with murder-party to the crime.
Investigators said both suspects are in the Bibb County Jail without bond.
