Man shot in East Macon, BSO in search of suspect


MACON, Ga. -- The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating an aggravated assault that happened around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Emery Hwy. and Maynard St. Monday afternoon.

According to a release from the sheriff's office, an argument allegedly took place earlier Monday between 19-year-old Miciah Daniely and an unknown suspect.

The release states that Daniely was walking near Emery Hwy. and Maynard St. when the unknown suspect confronted him for a second time, during which the individual shot Daniely twice.

Daniely was reportedly shot in the left arm and right thigh. He was transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.

There were no other injuries reported during this incident and there is currently no other information on the suspect.
