MACON, Ga. -- A man is dead after a wreck Thursday morning in Macon.
According to Bibb Coroner Leon Jones, 57-year-old Joseph Bradley Middleton died after wrecking his Yamaha motorcycle at the I-16/75 split. The Perry man was a musician at the Hummingbird in Macon.
In a release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, Middleton was on the ramp from I-16 west to I-75 when he hit a tarp that was in the road. It got caught in his back tire, causing him to lose control and hit a guard rail.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
