Officer injured at Warner Robins McDonalds
WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -- An officer was injured during an incident at the McDonald's on Russell Parkway in Warner Robins Friday evening.
According to a release from the Warner Robins Police Department, officers were called to the fast-food restaurant because an unwanted man, 25-year-old Jared Jones, a former employee of the business, was there.
When officers tried to detain him, Jones fought back. During the fight, a Warner Robins police officer fell and hit his head. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Jones was arrested and charged with felony obstruction, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and criminal trespass. Additional charges are possible. Jones was not injured.
