Paper plant worker taken to hospital after fire

MACON, Ga. -- Macon-Bibb County Firefighters said Friday night a worker at Fleenor Paper Company had to be taken to a hospital.

Some equipment caught fire about 7:00 p.m. at the plant located on 2359 Liberty Church Road in Macon.

The employee was overtaken by smoke, according to firefighters.

Smoke could be seen coming from the building.
