Riverside Library holds story time despite school closures
MACON, Ga. -- School may be out this week but a local library is giving kids some much-needed entertainment.
Riverside Library continued their weekly story time where kids listen to a story then do activities.
Library assistant Julie McGaughey said there were more people in the library Wednesday looking for something to do or using computers there.
She said you should wait until the power is out to curl up with your kids with a book.
"There's nothing like holding an old fashioned book in your hand and reading and especially cuddling up with a child and reading a story to them," she said. "I would just encourage all parents to do that."
Story time is every Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Riverside Library.
