Service members with VECTR Center to have more housing
WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -- Service men and women with the VECTR Center in Warner Robins could have more housing in the future.
Developers broke ground on phase one of the project for new housing units on Wednesday. According to the developers, phase one for the 90 new housing units is a 12-month process.
Once phase one construction is over, developers said they hope to secure more funding for phase two for another 90 units by the end of summer 2019.
The units will reportedly be mixed income housing to include a variety of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.
Currently, there's housing available for those in the VECTR Center on Robins Air Force Base - but this could provide more resources for the VECTR Center in addition to the overall community.
