Police: Suspects charged in homicide at Savannah apartment complex

A man is dead after a shooting that took place Thursday night in Savannah.

According to police, the shooting happened shortly before 10 p.m. on Peach Tree Drive in the Bricktowne Flats apartment complex.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police identified the man as Travis Edwards, 20, of Savannah. Detectives are working to learn what lead to the shooting.

On May 24, police said Terry Rucker III, 16, was named as a suspect in the shooting. On May 21, Rucker was taken to the Savannah Regional Youth Detention Center on a charge of murder.

On June 7, police identified Harold Jakarius Roberson as a suspect. Roberson, 17, was found by authorities on June 5 and was booked into the Chatham County jail on a charge of murder.
