Suspect takes money, military ID from unlocked vehicle at Pio Nono gas station

MACON, Ga. -- Bibb County deputies are investigating an entering auto incident that happened Tuesday at the Citgo located at 3701 Pio Nono Ave.

A Milledgeville resident passing through Macon told deputies that she stopped at the pumps to get gas and went inside the food mart "for a minute" without locking her vehicle.

After getting gas and driving towards the interstate, the women said she let down her sun visor and realized that a wallet sleeve with emergency money and her military identification card was missing.

The deputy reportedly went to the Citgo and checked security video, but wasn't able to see the woman's car in the camera footage. According to the report, the deputy was able to see what looked like a 2002 Ford Explorer pull away towards Mercer University Dr.
