GBI searching for two men who reportedly robbed gas Telfair Co. gas station with rifle

LUMBER CITY, Ga. -- The GBI requests the public's help identifying two men who reportedly robbed a Lumber City gas station with a rifle.

According to the Telfair County Sheriff Chris Steverson, the two men entered a Flash Foods around 2:20 a.m. on Sept. 17. and stole money from the register.

Surveillance footage shows one man wearing a grey shirt, blue jeans, a camouflage hat and a red shirt over his face.

The second man wore a camouflage shirt, dark pants and a white shirt covering his face. Both men appeared to be wearing gloves.

The men fled in a white Chevrolet Malibu Maxx and went south on 341 toward Jeff Davis County.
