Third suspect in Milledgeville teen's murder found hiding in apartment closet

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (WGXA) -- A third arrest has been made in connection to the murder of 16-year-old Desmond Rivers.

18-year-old Derquavious Kier had been on the run for nearly a month after the shooting on Anthony Way when Milledgeville Police Officers and U.S. Marshals found him hiding under a pile of clothes in a closet in a woman's apartment on Thursday, according to Milledgeville Police.

Kier was arrested without incident and 22-year-old Shymecia Lewis was also taken in for harboring a fugitive.

After further investigation, warrants have been taken out on four other people.
