Tractor trailer catches fire on I-475

MACON, Ga. -- A truck carrying hay caught fire on Friday afternoon.

According to Bibb County Fire Department officials, a flatbed tractor trailer carrying hay or pine straw caught fire on I-475 Northbound.

There are several crews on the scene. They have put out the fire but there is still smoke in the area.

Based on radio traffic, no injuries have been reported, according to one official.
