Two arrested in Toombs Co. for $8,000 marijuana growing operation
TOOMBS COUNTY, Ga. -- Georgia law enforcement have arrested two people on for manufacturing marijuana, among other charges.
That's according to a release from Toombs County Sheriff Alvie Kight, which said his deputies along with the Southeastern Regional Drug Enforcement Office arrested 41-year-old Isauro Longoria and 38-year-old Chrystal Lynn Castro.
Kight said Castro was also charged with cocaine possession.
According to the release, both suspects were denied bond and will both appear before a Superior Court Judge for a bond hearing at a later date.
The marijuana operation had a street value of $8,000, the release said.
