WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -- A Middle Georgia woman was arrested recently at a local Walmart after she allegedly tried to steal merchandise and was found to have meth in her purse.
That's according to a report filed with the Warner Robins Police Department, which said 32-year-old Leesa Elaine Collier was taken to jail after getting caught with about $170 worth of stolen items.
A loss prevention officer detained Collier after noticing that she pretended to ring up items at the self check-out counter before putting them into the bag, the report said.
Collier reportedly tried to steal a bedding set, throw blankets, a face cleanser, a dog nail trimmer, a pedicure set and a hair sleep styler.
Police allegedly also found a glass pipe with methamphetamine, a folded $20 bill that "contained an unidentifiable unknown substance" and straws that "also contained a powder like substance" in her purse.
According to the report, officers discovered Collier had an open warrant in Bibb County. They arrested her and took her to the Warner Robins Police Department for booking.
