BIBB COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) - Court documents reveal more about the murder of a north Georgia man in Macon.
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office announced the arrests of 38-year-old Jarvis Jermaine Tillman and 30-year-old Amanda Allan Hulsey in connection to the murder of Olico Dennis.
Dennis was from Chatsworth in Murray County in north Georgia. Investigators say he was in Forsyth for a work assignment and traveled to Macon. He had not been seen or heard from, so his family filed a missing person report. Investigators learned Dennis was found dead in Crawford County the next morning. The Bibb County Coroner's office says Dennis had been shot.
According to court documents obtained by WGXA News, investigators believe Dennis was shot multiple times at an apartment in the Vineville Town Homes complex off Riverside Drive near the I-75 interchange. Investigators say after Dennis was fatally shot, Tillman and Hulsey loaded his body into the back of an F-150 pickup truck. The warrants allege Tillman and Hulsey then drove Dennis' body to Crawford County, dumping him along Sandy Point Circle.
The arrest warrants do not document what the relationship was between Dennis and Tillman and Hulsey.
Tillman and Hulsey were arrested at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Pierce Avenue just after 3 p.m. Tuesday. They face multiple charges, including murder.
Both Tillman and Hulsey are no strangers to criminal charges. Tillman has faced aggravated assault and theft charges in recent years. Hulsey pleaded guilty in 2021 to aggravated assault and terroristic threats and acts and also faced drug charges in 2015.
