Woman, daughter pulled from car after crash on MLK Jr. Blvd.
MACON, Ga. -- A mother and her daughter were pulled from their vehicle after a three-car crash on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Macon Tuesday morning.
It happened just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of MLK Jr. Blvd. and Poplar Street Lane.
Witnesses say a red Jeep was speeding through an intersection when its backside was clipped. The Jeep then rolled three times and crashed into another vehicle.
The woman driving the Jeep was pulled from the front seat. Her daughter was pulled from the car thru the back window.
Both were taken to the hospital. There is no word yet on the extent of any injuries.
Traffic is blocked on the downtown road as crews work to clear the scene.
