Woman found dead at Chambers Road Econolodge Motel

MACON, Ga--

UPDATE, 10:30 a.m.:

Bibb Sheriff's deputies say the woman's body is being taken in for an autopsy to determine the cause of death; however, investigators don't suspect foul play at this time, but an investigation is underway. Her name has not yet been released.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says the body of a woman was found at the Econolodge on Chambers Road in Macon on Saturday morning.

Coroner Jones tells WGXA the nature of her death is suspicious and investigators are en route to the scene.

Jones says another suspicious death is also under investigation in Macon's Pleasant Hill neighborhood.
