Woman shot in face in South Macon
MACON, Ga --- A woman is in critical condition after being shot in the face Monday night on Vivian Drive in South Macon.
According to a report from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, a deputy got a call of a fight at 2443 Vivian Drive and when en route, received another call of a person shot.
22 year-old Brooklyn Rouse was found lying outside of a residence around 8:20 p.m. A witness reported that she was delivering a pizza from Papa John's prior to the shooting.
The report states that a deputy comforted her until EMS was at the scene. Rouse told a deputy that she recalled a person asking her for money before she was shot.
She was taken to the Medical Center Navicent Health where she is listed in critical condition. She was shot in the head, face and clavicle.
A GoFundMe page was created by Latavia Coleman, Rouse's aunt and the head women's basketball coach at Howard High School, in partnership with Bank of America to help the Rouse's family with medical care.
No was else was injured in the incident. There's no description of a suspect at this time.

A delivery driver for the same Papa John's was shot on Dec. 22 while also making a delivery. The shift manager at the Presidential Parkway Papa John's said they are no longer delivering to Bloomfield Drive.
