Albany State rolls FVSU in Fountain City Classic

COLUMBUS, GA -- Bragging rights in one of college football's biggest HBCU rivalries head south for another 365 days.

Led by QB Kelias Williams, Albany State thrashed Fort Valley State 34-9 Saturday afternoon in the Fountain City Classic at AJ McClung Stadium in Columbus.

Williams collected 247 yards with three touchdowns while the Rams racked up 300 rushing yards.

Fort Valley State managed seven first downs on the afternoon but finished the day 0-12 on third down.

The Wildcats host Tuskegee Saturday at Wildcat Stadium in the Crampton Bowl for the SIAC Championship.
