Calloway ties NCAA record, Mercer wins 12th straight game

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Mercer women's basketball team hit 12 three-pointers in Saturday's 86-64 win over Furman. KeKe Calloway hit all of them. The junior from Forsyth knocked down 12 three-pointers, setting a Mercer record and tying an NCAA record for most three's in a single game.

Calloway finished the day 14-for-23 from the field and 12-for-18 from three with 40 points, six rebounds and two assists. Kahlia Lawrence finished with 16 points while Sydni means added six points and 15 assists.

The Bears (15-2, 2-0) have now won 12 straight games, tying the team's highest previous win streak under head coach Susie Gardner. The Bears are back in action on Saturday when the travel to Birmingham to take on Samford.
