Fort Valley State MBB picks up 2nd win


The Fort Valley State Men's Basketball team is starting to pick up some steam. The Wildcats defeated Georgia Southwestern 80-65 at HPE Arena on Monday night. The Wildcats are now 2-8 on the season.

Fort Valley was led by K'Viontae Williams who had 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jaylon McMillian chipped in with 21 points, and Shawn Foxbrennen had 22 points and 10 rebounds. The Wildcats forced 15 turnovers and got 17 points off of those. They also outscore GSW 34-24 in the paint.

Up next, the Wildcats will head to Florida A&M for a exhibition on Thursday, then will travel to Carson Newman on Saturday.
