Georgia College Baseball wins Peach Belt Tournament

For the 2nd straight season, the Georgia College Baseball team has come out on top of the Peach Belt Tournament. The Bobcats defeated USC Aiken 7-5 to claim back to back tournament titles, and their 4th overall. GC picks up the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.

The Bobcats were led by Cal Gentry who went 2 for 4 with 2 runs. GC got RBIs from Nate Schmal, Logan Mattix, Brandt Stallings, Garrett Green, and John Davis. Bradley Cammack (12-2) went the distance giving up 5 runs off of 12 hits while picking up 4 srikeouts.

Up next, the Bobcats will await their fate in the NCAA Tournament. That decision will be made at 10 pm on Sunday night.
