Georgia College blasts Clark Atlanta in seven innings

MILLEDGEVILLE, GA -- Jason Eller likes his team to be offensive minded. Tuesday afternoon the Bobcats listened to their coach as Georgia College blasted Clark Atlanta 30-3 at home.

Logan Mattix homered twice and Brandon Benson drilled his NCAA-DII-leading 16th home run of the season as the Bobcats recorded 25 hits on the afternoon.

Georgia College went scoreless only one inning and scored more than three runs in the remaining five innings at bat including 10 runs in the sixth.

Georgia College (22-9, 9-6) return to Peach Belt Conference action with a 3-game road trip at Lander starting Friday night.
