Mercer Baseball rolls to Game 2 win; takes series from Alcorn St

The Mercer Baseball team found their bats again in Game 2 of their series with Alcorn State. The Bears rolled past the Braves 10-3. They improve to 33-18 on the season.

The Bears were led by Trey Truitt who went 3 for 4 with 3 doubles and 2 RBIs. Brandon Michie went 2 for 3 with a home run. JT Thomas and Alex Crotty each chipped in with 2 hits and a RBI. Zach Graveno (2-1) picked up the win going 2 and 2/3s innings while giving up 2 hits and no runs.

Up next, the finale game of the series will be on Saturday night at 8 pm.
