WARNER ROBINS, GA -- Madison Lee was every bit as good as advertised Thursday night.

The ace tossed a complete game shutout as Pioneer Little League of Columbus representing Georgia claimed a 5-0 opening round win over South Tampa Little League of Florida in the Southeast Regional Little League World Series Softball Tournament.

Through six innings of work, Lee dished out 12 strikeouts while surrendering just two hits. Georgia broke open the scoring with a three-run fourth inning and tacked on insurance runs in the fifth and sixth.

Georgia advances to Friday afternoon's winners bracket where they'll meet West Virginia.
