WARNER ROBINS, GA -- For the second straight year the all-stars from Peachtree City Little League came up short in the Southeast Regional of the Little League World Series.

After jumping out to a 3-0 first-inning lead highlighted by a Kaleb Cost two-run home run, Team Georgia couldn't hold on as North State Little League from North Carolina earned an 8-6 win in Wednesday's Regional Championship in Warner Robins.

North Carolina regained the lead after five runs in the bottom of the second inning. After Georgia tied the game at five in the top of the fourth, North State Little League responded with three huge runs in the bottom half.

North Carolina will represent the Southeast Region in the Little League World Series next week in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
