Prized recruit Kearis Jackson releases "Top 8" college choices

FORT VALLEY, GA -- Peach County Wide Receiver Kearis Jackson is considered one of the best high school football players in Georgia.

Ranked the 16th best prospect and the top receiver in the state according to, the rising senior continues to receive interest from elite college programs.

Earlier this week, the wide receiver released his list of the "Top 8" schools on his radar.

The list includes Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, and Ohio State. Jackson says his list does not reveal any favorites.

As a junior, Jackson led the Trojans to a Region 4-AAA Championship and an appearance in the state semifinals.

Peach County opens the season August 25 at Houston County.
