MACON, GA -- FPD Football has been good the past three seasons.

Greg Moore's 2017 senior class is looking to cap their careers with a signature win. Friday night the perfect opportunity presents itself as the Vikings (5-1, 2-0) travel to rival Stratford (6-0).

The Vikings' seniors have yet to take down the Eagles the past three years and a victory would serve as a feather in their cap.

"I'm sure it would mean a lot, but we haven't talked many about what happened in the past," Moore said at Thursday's practice. "When you're a senior, it's your only time to be a senior. You don't really get to go back to what it was like when you were a sophomore, junior anything like that."

The Vikings have taken a one-game approach all season and Moore says since an early-season loss to Brookstone, his team has responded well. All the preparation leads to a special moment Friday night.

"When you get your chance, you get ready and you prepare and you take your best shot," Moore said. "I think that's what these kids will do. That's what they've done all year."

FPD and Stratford kickoff at 7:30 Friday night at Stratford Academy.
