Westside gets past Central


Westside found a way to pick up their 4th win of the season. The Seminoles defeated in Macon rival Central 18-6 at the Ed Defore Sports Complex on Friday. Westside is now 4-2 on the year, while Central is 1-5.

The Seminoles were dominant in this one from the start. They took their opening drive down the field for a touchdow scored by Tyshaun Freeman. Victor Dixon gave the Seminoles their 2nd score on a 6 yard rush to start the 2nd quarter to make it 12-0. Central would answer in the 2nd as Cameron Collier made it 12-6 off a 12 yard run. Freeman would add another score for Westside early in the 4th to make it 18-6.

Up next, Westside will travel to Jackson, and Central will host Kendrick on Thursday.
