Upson-Lee's Tye Fagan commits to Georgia
MACON, Ga. -- Tye Fagan thought he had his college future figured out -- but things changed after his historic season -- and he's heading to the University of Georgia.
Fagan committed to Middle Tennessee early in the year, but when head coach Kermit Davis landed the job at Ole Miss, Fagan's plans changed.
He decided to go in another direction and committed to Georgia on Monday.
Fagan averaged 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists during his senior year. He led the Knights to back to back 4A state titles and an 83-game win streak.
Fagan joins a Bulldog team that has a new head coach in Tom Crean. Crean has had successful stints at Marquette and Indiana.
