Upson-Lee punches Final 4 ticket with 30th straight win

Darrell Lockhart's Upson-Lee Knights started fast and finished strong pushing their winning streak to 30 games with a 70-56 victory over Thomson in the GHSA AAAA Quarterfinals Wednesday night at Upson-Lee High School.

Michael Smith led the Knights with 20 points while Travon Walker added 14 points 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. Tye Fagan added 14 points as well for the purple and white.

Upson-Lee will take on Henry County who defeated LaGrange 62-61 in the GHSA AAAA Semifinals Saturday at 4 p.m. at Augusta University.
