High School Basketball season may have come and gone in the area, but bragging rights are still up for grabs this weekend.

Tattnall Square Academy will host the 2017 Middle Georgia All Star Weekend as the top hoops' competition from Macon, Warner Robins and the rest of the area will meet on the hardwood. Thursday afternoon, the best players in Houston County practiced at HOCO as they prepped for the Wartown-Mactown showcase.

"It's weird but it's fun because we never got to play with them before," said Warner Robins Junior Forward Jaydon Norman. "You know their talents and you know it could be cool playing with someone else every once in a while."

The usual rivals are teaming up for one weekend with the goal of bringing bragging rights back to their hometowns.

"We're going to come out there and we're going to beat them," said Perry Junior Guard Jecory Burks. "They beat us this summer but we're going to beat them."

The weekend gets going at Tattnall Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
