Another High School State Championship Baseball series will happen this weekend in Macon. Windsor Academy will take on Piedmont in the GISA Class AA State Championship series. The Knights fell to Piedmont in both games during the regular season. They are 11-8 on the year, and knocked off Brentwood to get to this point. The Knights have been in the state semifinals in each of the last 3 seasons, but have never reach this point. And they are hoping to make it count this weekend. "If we stick with what's got us here and be good and solid everywhere then we have a chance to be in the ballgame. From there if we get a big hit from somebody, or a big play on defense" said head coach Matt Britt. "Its really been helping us out because we all really want it. Getting so close and not getting it is making us work even harder each day at practice and making us come together as a team" said senior Stevie Arrington.

First pitch from OrthoGeorgia Park at Mercer will be at 4:30 pm.
