Mayhem falls to Roanoke

Slow start dooms Mayhem against Roanoke/(A.J. Good WGXA)

The Macon Mayhem came into's Friday night's game looking to get back into the win column. However, that was not meant to be as the Roanoke Railyard Dawgs dominated from start to finish to pick up a 5-2 win at the Macon Centreplex. The Mayhem are now 25-16-5.

The Railyard Dawgs got 2 goals each from Eric Witzel and Steve Mele. Matt Zenzola stopped 33 shots on the night for Roanoke. Caleb Cameron and Dennis Sicard picked up the goals for the Mayhem on the night.

Up next, Macon will host Huntsville on Saturday. The puck will drop at 7:35 pm.
