Mayhem power past Evansville to force Game 3

Mayhem rolled to a 6-1 victory on Game 2./(A.J. Good WGXA)

The Macon Mayhem used a good mixture of strong goaltending and great offense to pick up a 6-1 victory over the Evansville Thunderbolts in the Game 2 of the SPHL Challenge Round. The series is now tied at 1-1.

Charlie Finn stopped 32 of 33 shots on the night. Kevin Irwin had a hat trick on the night for the Mayhem. The other goals came from Daniel Echeverri, Jake Trask, and John Seimer.

The 3rd and deciding game will be on Sunday at 4:30 pm at the Macon Centreplex.
